Shane Dixon

Part II Architectural Assistant

BA (Hons), MArch

I joined KSA in 2016 returning to the practice where I had actually completed my work experience as a 15 year old deciding on a career. KSA are supporting me through my Masters of Architecture studies at university due to complete in 2021. I work with all the team from planning stage through to working drawings and I am now gaining experience working directly with clients and contractors on site.

My passions outside of KSA

Shane Lake Hiking
Shane Lake Tent
Shane Lake District Camping

Studying part-time at university and being a young father is hard work but I enjoy the challenge and I will be very proud when I qualify and can celebrate becoming an architect with my family. To relax I like to get outdoors and explore the countryside - often camping in the wilderness which is so exhilarating.  For quieter forms of relaxation I am learning to play the piano, I enjoy reading and cooking and, of course, playing with my son!
